Fourteen days, the full amount, one email. No form, no reason required.
Fourteen days, full refund
Any event payment, within fourteen days of paying, for any reason.
Just email us
One message to hello@skad.run from the address you signed up with. That is the whole process.
The date can still move
Postponed? Move the date inside the window you paid for. Nothing to refund.
Our mistakes, any time
Charged twice, or paid and nothing went live? We fix it, whenever you notice.
The rule
Drawing courses on Skad is free. Taking an event live costs €29, once. If you want that back, write to us within fourteen days of paying and we refund the full amount. You do not have to give a reason: a change of plan, a postponed race, fewer entries than you hoped for, or simply that Skad was not the right fit all count the same.
The fourteen days run from the moment of payment, not from race day. After that the payment is final, because by then the pages have been in front of your runners and crew for a fortnight and the edition is well under way.
How to ask
Send one email to hello@skad.run from the address you signed up with, naming the event. That is all. We reply within two working days, and the money goes back to the card you paid with; Stripe usually lands it within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.
Stripe issues a credit note against the original invoice, so your accounts stay tidy without you doing anything.
What happens to the event
A refund closes the edition you paid for: the public runner page, the crew page, and the print pack stop resolving once the refund is issued. Nothing is deleted. The event, its course, and its stations stay in your account exactly as you built them, and your routes are yours either way.
If you later want the event live again, paying for it again opens a fresh window. A refund of a free first event, where nothing was charged, is not a thing that needs to exist.
If the race moves
A postponement usually does not need a refund at all. You can move the date after paying, as long as the new date sits inside the window you already paid for, and the pages stay live with nothing charged again. If the move takes you past the window, or you would rather start over, the fourteen-day refund is there as long as you are still inside it.
When something on our side goes wrong
The fourteen days are about your decisions. Our mistakes have no deadline. If any of these happen, write to us whenever you notice and we put it right:
- You were charged and the event did not go live.
- You were charged twice for the same edition.
- You were charged the full price while an offer you qualified for, such as a free first event, was running.
Depending on what you would rather have, that means taking the event live, crediting the edition, or refunding the charge. Nothing here takes away a right to a refund that the law gives you and does not let you sign away.
After the event
A month after race day, the public and crew pages stop resolving. Nothing is deleted and nothing is owed: the event waits for a renewal, your routes are yours either way, and you can export them from your account page whenever you like.
