Pricing
Free to draw. Pay when it becomes a course.
A route is yours for nothing, forever. An event is the organizer's problem, and that's what Skad charges for: one flat price per event, about what one runner pays to enter.
For anyone who runs

Organizer Solo
How paying per event works.
- Per event, not per seat.
- You pay for one event, once, about what one runner pays to enter. Every race in it, every station, every page. There is no subscription behind it.
- Try it before you buy it.
- Set the whole event up on the Runner plan and preview the runner page, the crew page, and the print pack as the owner. Pay when you want other people to see them.
- Twelve months, then it's your call.
- The event stays live for a year from purchase. After that the public and crew pages go quiet until you renew. Most races are annual, so renewing the same event is $19: the course and stations are already built. Nothing is deleted and your routes stay yours.
- No per-runner fee.
- Send the link to 30 runners or 3,000. The price is the same, so nobody has to do the math before sharing it.
Questions
The ones organizers ask first.
- What counts as an event?
- One date, or a span of days, with as many races as you run on it. The Ridge 32K with its 10K and 5K on the same morning is one event.
- Do runners or volunteers need an account?
- No. Runners open a link. Crew open a link and type a six-character code you set. Nobody but you signs in.
- Can I change the course after paying?
- Yes. Edit the routes, move stations, add a race. Every page updates from the same event, for the whole 12 months.
- What happens when the 12 months end?
- The crew page and the public runner page stop resolving until you renew. The event, its routes, and its stations are kept, so a renewal picks up where it left off.
- Do I need a card to start?
- No. Drawing, saving, sharing, and setting up an event are all on the Runner plan. Checkout only appears when you take an event live, and not at all for a free first event.
